CRONA Scholarship Terms and Conditions

Scholarship eligibility and selection criteria:

  1. Seniority (based on adjusted hire date).
  2. Must be enrolled in study of nursing or a related healthcare field.
  3. Must have worked at SHC and/or LPCH for at least 12 months at the time of application.
  4. Are a CRONA member in good standing (see CRONA Bylaws Article IV). <a href=”https://www.crona.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Bylaws-2024_final.pdf”>CRONA Bylaws</a>
  5. Valid supporting documents submitted prior to deadline.
  6. Priority is given to those who have not previously received a CRONA Scholarship.

Documentation Requirements: Recipients will be selected from candidates who successfully complete the application process and submit the following documents prior to the deadline:

  1. CRONA Scholarship Application Form (available on the CRONA website)
  2. Proof of registration (copies of course registration)
  3. Proof of payment of class fees (cancelled check, credit card payment)

Scholarship recipients will be selected from among qualified applicants in accordance with the above criteria. Applications that are incomplete or late may not be considered. The CRONA Executive Board will review the list of applicants and award twenty (20) $1000.00 scholarships. Awardees will be notified via email to their home email address no later than January 12, 2025. Scholarship payments will be sent via US Mail no later than January 31, 2025.
